Systems should be coming back to normal now, although it may take a few minutes to catch up. We once again apologise for this issue.

We are still working on the issue and will add further updates as we get them. In the meantime, if you are affected by the issue, you can work around it by disabling the "Block unclassified sites" in the Product Configuration page under Web Security section in the USS portal.

Unfortunately the issue is more complex than we first realised, and will take longer to fix. We apologise for this, and we are working hard to resolve this as quickly as possible.


We have identified the issue with the site classifications and are working to restore services now. We are hoping to have this resolved by 9.30am UK time (UTC+1), but we will update with progress reports as we proceed.


We are currently investigating an issue with site classifications on the ICAP servers.
